Ted Burgess, LCSW

 

Ted Burgess graduated from the University of Utah Graduate School of Social Work in 1995. He is a licensed clinical social worker in Florida and Idaho. He currently manages the Saint Alphonsus Addiction Recovery Center, where he has worked the past 5 years. He serves on the advisory board to the board of nursing for recovering RNs and as an appointed member of the City of Boise's detox coalition. He also serves as the Chairman of Idaho Healthy Teens, a statewide outreach program teaching at risk middle school children the dangers of drug and alcohol use, as well as the value of healthy living. He is the co-author of "The Heart of Wellness," which uses mindfulness practices in the treatment of addictions.
