Cedric Decroy

Cedric Decroy has lived in the Boise area since 1992. He separated from the US Air Force shortly after the Desert Storm War ended and began a new career with the Boise VA Medical Center’s substance abuse treatment team. He was able to develop a new treatment program that focuses on substance abuse, and PTSD, using traditional Native American values and teachings. Mr. DeCory also acts as the Special Emphasis Program Manager for Native American Veterans. He sits on the EEO committee for the Boise VA. He is the VA/Tribal Liaison for Camp Chaparral PTSD and cultural sensitivity training. He also sits on the National Diversity Sub-Committee for Native American Veterans. He is a member of the North American Indian Veterans Association and the Yakama Warriors Association. Mr. DeCory comes to Idaho from the Rosebud Sioux Reservation in Rosebud, South Dakota and is an enrolled member of the Sic’angu Lakota Tribe.
