Larry Dewey , MD
Dr. Larry Dewey was born and raised on a farm in Idaho and graduated from Meridian High School in 1969. He graduated from Harvard College, Harvard Medical School, and completed his psychiatry residency at Yale in 1975, 1979, and 1983 respectively. Since 1984 he has been chief of the psychiatry service at the Boise VAMC and is an associate clinical professor of psychiatry for the University of Washington School of Medicine. For more than 25 years he has treated combat veterans. In 2004 his text on treating combat veterans, War and Redemption, was published.
