Sara Dolan, Ph D
Sara Dolan received her PhD in Clinical Psychology from the University of Iowa, with an internship in Addictions and General Psychology at the Yale University School of Medicine. Her dissertation topic was the role of family history of addiction in neuropsychological functioning, and she completed this work under Drs. Peter Nathan and Antoine Bechara. She then completed a postdoctoral fellowship in substance abuse treatment outcome research and neuropsychology at Brown University’s Center for Alcohol and Addiction Studies, which was funded by the National Institutes of Alcohol Abuse and Alcoholism. She was appointed to the faculty at Brown and served as Principal Investigator on a study of smoking attitudes and beliefs, funded by the National Cancer Institute. She is now an Assistant Professor at Baylor University’s Department of Psychology and Neuroscience, where she is conducting research on the relationship of neuropsychological function to substance abuse treatment process and outcome. |
