Tom Hogan, MSW

Tom is a licensed social worker who has worked on the inpatient psychiatric ward and in the outpatient substance abuse program during his 2 years at the Boise VA Medical Center. He is currently the Suicide Prevention Coordinator at the Boise VA. Prior to working at the VA Tom worked at the Port of Hope as clinical coordinator and the Road to Recovery as the substance abuse liaison to Health and Welfare Region III.

Tom entered the substance abuse field after completing the South Oaks Institute of Alcoholism and Addictive Behavior Studies in June of 1995. He worked in an adolescent partial hospital program and in an outpatient substance abuse programs with both adolescents and adults. Tom plans to take the clinical social work exam in May of 2008.
