John Porter, MS

John Porter is the owner of PEGASUS training and consulting and a Technology Transfer Specialist for the
Northwest Frontier Addiction technology Transfer Center. John has worked in Oregon, Idaho, Washington, Alaska and Hawaii for the past 8 years teaching and training the NFATTC model of Clinical Supervision. In
addition, he has implemented the model in four agencies in the Northwest region and is working with the State of Idaho to assist in the implementation of the model statewide. John has over 25 years of
treatment and teaching experience in addictions treatment, counseling and supervision.
John holds a Masters' Degree from Texas A & M University and has collaborated in writing CS II and CS III with Dr. Steve Gallon at the Northwest Frontier ATTC and recently sat on the SAMHSA panel to write the TAP for Clinical Supervision in Substance Abuse Treatment, which is scheduled for publication in 2009.
John spends much of his free time in his new home in Escazu, Costa Rica.
