Henry Schmidt III, Ph D
Henry Schmidt III, Ph.D. is a psychologist and the Clinical Director of Washington State's Juvenile Rehabilitation Administration (JRA). He oversees the development and implementation of JRA's 'Integrated Treatment Model', including programming for specialized treatment targets such as substance abuse, co-occurring disorders, and sex offending behavior. He is an Assistant Clinical Professor in the Department of Psychology at the University of Washington, where he chairs Dr. Marsha Linehan's workgroup on program accreditation for Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). He also is president of a training and consultation firm devoted to expanding the use of evidence-based cognitive-behavioral approaches in youth residential facilities.
