Deanna Smith, MSW

 

Deanna Smith received her BA Degree in Social Work form Idaho State University in 2002 and her Master’s In Social Work from Walla Walla University in 2006. She has worked in the social work field in adoptions work for the past five years and also worked as a Psychosocial Rehabilitation Specialist for over a year. In addition, she operated a private agency offering court-referred education programs to offenders for six years. Deanna became the District 6 Mental Health Court Coordinator in December 2006 and is a certified trainer for the GAIN I and GAIN Q assessment instruments. Prior to her work in the social work field, Deanna worked in the legal field with private attorneys for twelve years and has completed all requirements to be certified by the courts in mediation.
