Terry Tippery, LCSW

Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Team Leader, Vet Center, Boise, Idaho. A native of Boise, Idaho, served in U.S. Navy as a Communications Technician, graduated from Boise State University with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology in 1980, earned Masters in Social Work from Boise State in 1993. Twenty-eight years experience counseling combat veterans at the Vet Center (the place BD goes for counseling in Doonesberry-we all want to be Elias). Past President, Idaho Society for Clinical Social Workers, former member of the board of directors for the Clinical Social Work Federation.

Rich and varied professional career; began as an Outreach Technician, served as a member of the Department of Veteran’s Affairs Readjustment Counseling Services’ Homeless Working Group. Provided counseling at dedication of Korean War Memorial in 1995. Red Cross volunteer in Disaster Mental Health.
