Officer Jermaine Galloway
Officer Jermaine Galloway has been an Idaho law enforcement officer since 1997 and has more than 7 years experience in youth alcohol and drug education and enforcement. Officer Galloway has coordinated and led hundreds of party patrols and alcohol related investigations. Throughout the last year Officer Galloway nationwide training over 15,000 coalition members, police officers, educators, prevention personnel and community members on alcoholic energy drinks, youth underage drinking and drug trends, party patrols, compliance checks, fake ID?s party drugs and synthetic drugs.
Officer Galloway is an Idaho POST certified instructor and an adjunct instructor for NNU University. Officer Galloway spends time educating the public on youth and young adult alcohol and drug trends that are related to underage drinking. In part, these efforts have led to a consistent reduction in underage drinking party calls, injuries, incidents and community disorder problems around Boise State University and in the city of Boise.
Galloway has had articles published in print and online on his party patrol programs in American Police Beat Magazine, Campus Safety Magazine and many local area newspapers where he has done presentations.
In 2010, Officer Galloway received the national "Mickey Sadoff" underage drinking award from MADD (Mothers Against Drunk Driving) for his efforts in underage drinking education and enforcement.
In 2009, Officer Galloway received the national underage drinking enforcement and education award from the OJJPD (Office of Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention).
