Jonathan Lawson
Boise State junior Jonathan Lawson is the Idaho undergraduate fellow for the Center for Substance Abuse Prevention, a division of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services.
The two-year appointment allows Lawson to work on and present research projects at Boise State University, the Idaho Department of Health and Welfare and other state and local agencies. On campus, Lawson will work with the Institute for the Study of Addiction, a joint program of the College of Education and the College of Health Sciences. His research projects will be aimed at preventing substance abuse.
Lawson is a native of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, majoring in psychology with minors in addiction studies and political science. He transferred to Boise State from Kirkwood College in Cedar Rapids.
