Alan Miller

 

 

Alan Miller is the Juvenile Justice Specialist for Idaho. Mr. Miller has worked for the Idaho Department of Juvenile Corrections for over 7 years helping communities prevent and reduce juvenile crime. Mr. Miller has over 18 years experience in program development and implementation, evaluation, budgeting, and oversight. He has worked as a staff member on youth programs including Volunteer Montana and the Montana Conservation Corps. Mr. Miller developed community service and vocational programs for youth as a Park Ranger with the Idaho Department of Parks and Recreation and as a Grants Officer with Serve Idaho, the Governor’s Commission on Service and Volunteerism.

Alan has a diverse background in mobilizing volunteers to develop and maintain community-based programs and has coordinated volunteers to monitor and oversee programs to ensure compliance with program guidelines and progress towards objectives.
