Jared Olson

Jared Olson works for the Idaho Prosecuting Attorneys Association as Idaho’s first Traffic Safety Resource Prosecutor. His role is one of collaboration between prosecutors, law enforcement, the judiciary and community stakeholders in the fight against impaired driving and other traffic crimes. He is a regular speaker at conferences having been invited to 22 states in the last 4 years. He is passionate about connecting people and ideas in order for them to work in groups that are effective and productive. Jared’s prior experience includes Assistant Chief Deputy Prosecutor, law clerk, detective, police officer, public relations, and 911 dispatcher. Jared has a Criminal Justice Master’s Degree from the University of Cincinnati, and his Juris Doctorate from the University of Idaho.
