Caile Spear

Caile E. Spear is a professor and Health Promotion Program Coordinator at Boise State University. Since 1997 she has been involved in the grant world in multiple ways including writing, reviewing and teaching. She teaches undergraduate and graduate students on the art of grant proposal preparation. Believing the best way to learn is by doing, her students work with local non-profits to prepare and submit grant proposals. Since 2005, Caile has traveled across the nation to help many community agencies augment and expand their funding opportunities via grant writing. She provides real world examples of how to research, plan, write and submit quality grant proposals. Dr. Spear brings 13 years of grant review experience based on her work with the federal Office of Adolescent Pregnancy Prevention Programs, state health agencies and local non-profits.
